Call For Papers

Being together to play is awesome and we know very well that, like all the people passionate about something, we love talking about our beloved hobby.

InterNosCon would like to leave a testimony of the thoughts of us players, and not only that. We wish a wider knowledge and recognition for our hobby. We think that having a body of written works to be known and from which to start a consideration about this mattersw could be a great help to reach this ends.

For all the reasons here above, we're asking to everyone who thinks to have something to say about "games" to contribute an article for the INC10 Book. We'd like to see a volume birthed from these contributions documenting the "state of the art" of gaming, a collection of considerations and ideas from gamers and designers, something that can be food for thought for its reader.

You can write about an experience that inspired you some considerations about gaming, or you could reuse, with a little rewriting, articles of yours already appeared on forums, websites or blogs.

The general idea is to gather all the articles in a book that will be available on line through a PDF freely downloadable from the InterNosCon website. Also a printed version will be a part of the welcome kit for all of the INC attendants and will be available to everyone else for online sale at a symbolic price (to cover printing expenses).

Here's some guidelines if you wish to participate in this project:

  • Abstract
Before the finished article, we'd like to receive a short abstract, a summary of what you're going to talk about in your piece. You can send abstract as .rtf files at staff@internoscon.it
Once you receive approval for your abstract, you can proceed to the finishing of your article.
  • Deadlines
    abstract within January 31
    finished articles within February 28

We're aware the time is not so much. Nonetheless we hope this initiative we'll find a wide support among gamers. We trust in your desire to make your hobby better known and in the awesome standing in the gaming community that would be conferred by your name appearing in this prestigious book...

For any doubt and question we're available for discussion here: GenteCheGioca or here: staff@internoscon.it
